What is a Porn parody?
The parody of a mainstream television show, feature film, public figure, video game, or a literary work is the source of inspiration for the production’s narrative or a plotline in a pornographic parody film. Parodies of historical or current events, such as political scandals, are also included in this subgenre.
Porn parodies are nothing new, although over time they have gotten “better” (as in, higher production values), and definitely more lucrative.
The sub-genre began gaining popularity in the 1990s, peaking in the 2000s and 2010s with William Shakespeare’s works, such as Hamlet: For the Love of Ophelia and Othello: Dangerous Desire. Bat Pussy is believed to have been the first porn parody and also known as one of the worst.
In the United Kingdom Television X made a name for itself making high budget (for the UK anyway) porn parodies two of the biggest being:

This extremely poor attempt at porn-parody exemplifies a contemporary version of what used to be called (back in the ’50s) a Brain Drain. The Brit Porn industry rose in the ’90s and early 21st Century with a strong stable of talent, but many of them, from Keiran Lee, Danny Mountain and Tony De Sergio to Jasmine Jae, made it big in America, and here we have mainly also-rans and nonentities in major acting roles.
Down on Abbey
The film Down on Abby: Stories from Bottomley Manor, a pornographic comedy spoofing the British television series Downton Abbey, was released in 2014. The picture, directed by Gazzman and produced by Harmony Films in the United Kingdom, is the first porn spoof. The film was shot in a castle near Birmingham and features an all-British cast, including Ben Dover as the title character “Abby.” When locals discovered what was going on at their castle, the town council attempted to have the shoot shut down, according to Gazzman, but the production completed successfully.

The King’s Speech
in 2011 The King’s Speech movie played a role in the success of Babestation. ‘The King’s Piece’ was filmed in the same London location as the original film, which so happened to be close to the babestation studios and where babestation filmed a lot of its XXX content.
