Jess West, Bri Olivia and Michelle Moist take part in charity walk in Frinton-on-Sea

Babestation stars Jess West, Bri Olivia and Michelle Moist have helped raise more than £2,000 for Pawprints to Freedom after taking part in a sponsored charity walk in Frinton-on-Sea during the recent heatwave.

The trio joined the charity’s From Kennels to Coast walk, helping raise funds and awareness for Pawprints to Freedom, an organisation that rescues and rehomes dogs, including animals saved from difficult conditions in Romania.

The fundraiser has already brought in £2,096 through GoFundMe, more than double last year’s total for the same walk. With offline donations included, the overall amount is now approaching £2,250.

A Cause Close to Home

For Jess West, the charity has a personal connection. She has long supported Pawprints to Freedom and has previously fostered one of the charity’s rescue dogs herself. Jess has also written about her fostering experience for the Daily Star, helping bring wider attention to the charity’s work and the difference rescue organisations can make for vulnerable dogs.

Speaking about the walk, Jess said:

“I did it because it was a great cause and lots of fun raising money for a charity that needs help, and seeing these dogs get help from these donations makes it all worthwhile – and the pups all got ice creams, too.”

Using Their Platforms for Good

Michelle Moist said she wanted to use the opportunity to do something positive and help bring attention to a cause she cares about.

“I wanted to make a difference and bring awareness to the charity, to do something different, and I love dogs. I wanted to use my following to do something good.”

Bri Olivia also spoke about how meaningful the day was, praising the work done by Pawprints to Freedom and the people behind the charity.

“It was an absolute honour to walk for this incredible charity and the beautiful dogs they have. They all work so hard to give these dogs a new start. I’m so happy I could be part of it, to help give them a little something back. I’m a huge dog and animal lover, and my heart feels very full today for such a wonderful cause.”

More Than Double Last Year’s Total

The fundraising effort has already surpassed last year’s total by a significant margin. With the online GoFundMe currently standing at £2,096, and offline donations taking the total close to £2,250, the walk has become a major success for everyone involved. The money raised will support Pawprints to Freedom’s rescue and welfare work, helping vulnerable dogs receive the care, rehabilitation and rehoming support they need.

About Pawprints to Freedom

Pawprints to Freedom is a dog rescue charity that helps dogs find safe, loving homes. The charity is especially known for supporting dogs rescued from difficult and often distressing conditions in Romania, before helping them start new lives in the UK.

Alongside rescue and rehoming, Pawprints to Freedom also works to improve animal welfare more broadly. The charity’s work includes:

  • rescuing and rehoming vulnerable dogs
  • educating communities about animal welfare
  • organising spay campaigns to help reduce the stray dog population
  • supporting dogs that need extra care before adoption
  • running UK kennels for more vulnerable or shut-down dogs who need time to recover

For many of these animals, the charity provides a vital second chance.

How to Donate

The fundraising page is still accepting donations, with all money raised going towards Pawprints to Freedom’s rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming work.
