Because before the branding, before the polish, before anyone had really figured out where the line was\u2026<\/p>\n

It was just called\u00a0\u201cFree Sex TV.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

No mystery. No subtlety. Just straight to the point. And honestly? That tells you everything about the early 2000s babeshow era.<\/p>\n

Before Babecast Was Babecast<\/b><\/p>\n

Most people remember Babecast as one of the early babeshows that popped up during that slightly chaotic boom of late-night interactive TV. But it didn\u2019t start as Babecast. When it launched back in July 2003, it came out under that original name, and you can imagine the kind of attention that got.<\/p>\n

Around the same time, Babestation had already proven the format worked. Late-night, live girls, viewers calling in for\u00a0cheap phone sex<\/span><\/a>\u00a0– simple setup, but it pulled numbers. And naturally, that caught attention.<\/p>\n

So when babeshows started taking off, it made perfect sense for him to move into TV.<\/p>\n

The idea was straightforward: take the audience he already had, stick it on screen, and give them a way to interact. That meant premium-rate calls,\u00a0texts<\/span><\/a>, and live models – the full package.<\/p>\n

The Launch That Got Everyone Talking<\/b><\/p>\n

The show went out on Friendly TV, which already did a lot of call-in style programming. But here\u2019s the key bit – it wasn\u2019t encrypted. So instead of signing up or messing about with access, you could just\u2026 flick it on after 11pm. And suddenly, there it was. Live models. Viewer interaction.
